The new President elect
Is it true that we are headed toward a sociolism? I have to admit I had to look up sociolism which lead to Marxism, and continued with communism. When you first start reading about sociolism it doesn't really sound all that bad, but there hasn't been one country where that worked. The countries mentioned that I remember were China, Korea, and Cuba. I know there was a fourth, but it evades my memory at the moment. So what now? Where are we headed? Any thoughts? I believe that faith and prayer can change any situation and I believe this is no different. I believe in my own way as many people do, we evolve as we go along. What are your thoughts about where we are headed?

Ireland getting ready to go to McDonalds with her Uncle Jordan and Uncle Ayden. Isn't she the cutest little thing you ever saw.
Alexia coming down the slide takes a moment to take a pose. Isn't she angelic?
Jordan in the jungle gym climbing all around being a monkey.
Ayden coming down the slide. He is Mommy's sweet little boy.

Thought you all may like an update on the girls...and boys. We are having a good time with the girls here. After we picked Jordan up from school today we went over to the park and the kids had a great time. We enjoyed letting them run around and getting some of that energy out. The boys are really enjoying having extra playmates this week. It is fun to see Ireland eating so much...especially meat. hehe

Here is an update on the house...we put marble around the fireplace and in front of the fireplace. We will be grouting this weekend. We finished the floor in the living room and will be working on the dining room this weekend as well. It has certainly been a journey. First let me tell you we bought the flooring from Sam's Club and it has a lifetime warranty on it. That is why we chose laminate flooring with the boys...we need all the help we can get. We bought the marble from Lowe's. Let me tell you something about the help at Lowe's...there is a man there that is so helpful and I wish I knew his name so I could list it here. Everytime we went in regardless of our silly questions he stopped and took time to answer in detail until we got what he was saying. Kudos to Lowe's for hiring a people oriented employee. It seems I haven't ran into too many people who work with the public who one want to be there in the first place and two care wether they help you or not. Crazy Ain't It!!! Maybe our failing economy will help with that issue. I am so proud of Paco for all the hard work Paco has put into house and making it our home. Ayden says it is booteful. :0) What a cutie pie he is. The boys love rolling across the floor and play on it...isn't that great. Kids love life and love to enjoy the small often overlooked joys it offers us! Have a great day and enjoy those little things!

I've been tagged...whatever that is!
6 quirky things about myself:
I have dreams that come true. I dreamed about 9/11 for 3 nights before it actually happened. However, my interpretation was when the building was shaking and the floors were falling out from under people that it was an earthquake even though I saw the plane in the building. I cried for 2 weeks prior because I felt so much pain and loss for the people who were lost during that awful day. I didn't understand all of it until the day it happened. I was at work and stopped dead in my tracks as the plane was being shown flying into the building. I nearly fainted. I did not know anyone personally that was killed that day, but felt very close to all of my fellow Americans. Which I must say I am so proud to be an American and want to keep that freedom.
I love the paranormal and that freaks people out just knowing that I like it. You know things like when you see 3 black birds together death is coming to someone you know...yeh, I know freaky!
I believe in the power of prayer and I believe that faith is a mountain mover!
I like the toilet paper to come over the top of the roll not from underneath. That way it isn't touching anything. Although it is the same it is just one of those things.
I like the pantry to have all like things together. You know all the soup together, all the pasta together...then I like the labels to be facing the front so you can see what you have at a glance without having to dig in the pantry.
At least once every night I get up and check on my boys. Then I have to cover them up and kiss them again. Then I thank God for blessing me a simple person with these wonderful children. I did the same with Coty when she was little too...even when she was older and at home...I had to look in on her sleeping and be thankful for being blessed with children. Then I pray and ask God to watch over them and the rest of my family.

Not a lot going on this week. Paco will be heading to Mexico on Friday for a week to be with his Mom. She is not doing well right now. Antonia needs to have by-pass surgery. We are trying to get her to come here for the surgery. We love her and want the best for her.
The boys are doing great. Jordan had a wonderful day in school on Friday and finally got his sticker. He was so excited. He really misses school on the weekends.
Happy birthday to Junior Salazar who turned 3-years-old this past week. What a big boy he is getting to be and a very sweet boy. His Mom and Dad are very proud of him.
Ayden is just loving having all this time to be the center of attention. He is loving having Grandma and Mommy all to himself. I found him on the couch this morning with the jar of almost empty peanut butter. I just gave him a spoon and let him eat away. He had it all over his shirt and hands, but that is a small price to pay to see him happy. Kids are so funny.
The house renovation is going slowly, but we are continuing. It is looking so much better than before and I am so happy that we have been able to do this. It has been a long journey and we haven't always enjoyed the journey...but we are learning as we get older to enjoy every day and every moment because life can be short. Love life, love living life, love your family, and most of all love God!!! ;0)

Until then he will just be getting some special attention that he hasn't ever gotten before. He is a little character to say the least.
Here are some updates on the updates. It is coming along. We will be doing more, but slowly since school started back. Did I mention I was taking Spanish. haha It is hard. Everyone should speak English is my way of thinking...at least if they live in the United States of America! Our ancestors had to learn English! Even our Native American ancestors...so what's up with that. Don't even get me started...Go RepubliCAN party!!!
As you may be able to tell we have a lot more to go...but we are enjoying the ride and it is fun getting there. We will cherish these days forever...
I thought everyone might like seeing updated pictures of the girls...who I miss a lot since they are living at Grandaddy Mike's house. You know no matter how hard you try not to worry about your kids you do. Who of us can say we never make mistakes anyway? All we can do is love our children for who they are and pray really hard for them to recognize when a door of opportunity has been opened up for them and that they will make an effort to step through that door. It doesn't matter what status they have or what they have done with this or that...you still want the best for your children. I love my girls so very much! I want the absolute best for them. I miss them!

I made charts to help the boys get ready in the mornings. Mostly for Jordan going to school. Whenever he does something on his chart he gets to put a sticker on and move on to the next task. He has been getting dressed, brushing his teeth, combing his hair, and putting on his shoes by himself. This is big for him because he likes letting someone else do it for him. He is doing a great job.
Ayden and Daddy putting his stickers on his chart. He loves doing the things his big brother does.
Jordan waiting for the bus.
Jordan getting on the bus...what you can't see is Mom holding back tears that started to flow as he left. He was a little scared when the air brakes sounded off as the bus driver drove up. It was very loud. I miss him! Crazy how we love those little monkeys so much isn't it!

Jordan did a great job getting ready for school this morning. He got up and did everything on his little chart by himself. He is a trooper. Jordan getting ready to go into the school for the first time.
Jordan on the mat with some class mates waiting for class to begin. As you can tell he wasn't the least bit concerned that I was leaving and going to school.
